V.L. Parker has spent the last 18 years as a hermit in Sabine Parish, Louisiana.  When last heard from, she was a frequent contributor to the now defunct online literary journal Spillway Review, in which her “Dispatches from Sabineland” were published and received little to no attention, although she suspects they are the basis of a number of Netflix series and have been used without her permission.  When not hermitting, she may be found at the Zwolle Tamale Fiesta and the Sabine Freestate Festival judging in the Not-Dessert and Not-Not-Dessert categories.
